Microdermabrasion developed in 1985 due to complications and drawback of dermabrasion.
A “lunch time peel” a non-invasive, hygienic gentle process of using crystals (corundum organic salt) which abrade layers of dead and damaged skin cells, living your skin smoother, brighter and firmer. It is used for skin resurfacing and treating a range of skin abnormalities.
Over the series of treatments, you will also notice a reductions of fine lines and wrinkles, refining of enlarged pores, eliminations of blackheads and whiteheads, reductions of scarred tissue ( such as acne or chicken pox scars) , and a reductions of blemishes caused by sun damage.
You will see an immediate visible result of youthful brilliance, even after one treatment. However a program will be advised depending on your skin’s condition and aesthetic goals. Depending what type of skin problems you are trying to correct, the typical series of treatment would be 6 to 10. These treatments would be ideally being 7 – 10 days apart, no longer than 14 days. Any slight redness you may experience depending on the strength of the procedure will be fade away one to twenty-four hours. There is no “healing time”, no need to hide away for days before you returning your normal lifestyle.
After the treatment the skin feel tight as if exposed to the sun or wind, and you may experience some flaking. It is advisable not to go swimming, exercise, or have any sun exposure for 24 hours.
Exfoliation: Mechanically remove upper layer of epidermis.
Vacuum: stimulates blood flow, and lymphatic activity.
Microdermabrasion treatment can be combined with virtually any aesthetic procedure (peels, phototherapy, vitamin masks, etc.) depending of your concern.
Can be applied on face (including eye, mouth, nose) and body for stretch marks or for cellulite.
Microdermabrasion also (the vacuum side) very good for lymphatic drainage.

The lymphatic system aids the immune system in destroying pathogens and filtering waste so that the lymph can be safely return to the circulatory system. The lymphatic system also works with the circulatory system to deliver nutrients, oxygen, and hormones from the blood to the cells that make up the tissues of the body.
